and I loved the idea. I struggle with defining my interests on a pretty
regular basis and I think it'll be fun to explore these interests and
help me figure out what truly matters to me and what doesn't.
๐ Sitcoms, I love 80's, 90's, and early 2000's sitcoms. Some of my favorite shows include: Cheers, King of Queens, Just Shoot Me, Fraiser, Superstore, Wings, and Taxi.
๐ฆธโโ๏ธ Comic Books, I'm not a weekly reader all the time, but I do enjoy a good superhero story. I'm a big fan of Superman, Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Spiderman.
๐งโโ๏ธ Stoicism/Buddhism/Meditation, I've been on a path for peace for years and studying Buddhism, Stoicism, and meditating have been part of my journey.
๐ค Westerns, there is nothing like a good Western in my opinion. Some of my favorites include: Unforgiven, Bass Reeves, Tombstone, and Silverado.
๐ฎ Video Games, I own an Xbox Series X, Playstation 5, and two Nintendo Switches. Some of my favorite games include: the Tony Hawk series, Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption, and Mad Max.
๐ Reading, I tend to alternate between novels and comic books throughout the year. Some of my favorite book series include: Joe Pickett, Jack Reacher, and books by Chuck Palahniuk.
๐ NFL, there is so much I dislike about sports, but I can't help but enjoy a good football game. I'm not a die-hard fan by any means but I tend to root for the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers. Although, I love to root for the underdog or any interesting stories throughout the season.
๐พ 80s and 90s, born in the 80's and raised in the 90s, I'm a fan of the decades of my youth and I enjoy reliving it as much as possible.
๐จโ๐ป Apple, I can't believe I'm writing that, because I spent pretty much my entire life hating Apple products. But after I got an iPad in 2021, then an iPhone in 2022, and then a MacBook and an Apple Watch in 2023, Apple has slowly infiltrated my life and I'm happy about it.
โ๏ธ Writing, whether it's blogging on here or writing in my journal, I love the art of the written word and itโs my favorite means of expressing myself.
๐ธ Science Fiction, I enjoy watching sci-fi more than reading, but just the journey of exploring different worlds that excites me. Some of my favorites are: Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, Star Trek: DS9, Babylon 5, and Andor.
๐งโโ๏ธ 80s and 90's Horror, while my fandom feels like it may be faltering a bit, I do love a good John Carpenter flick or a fun slasher.
๐ฅค Diet Soft Drinks, I drink my bodyweight in Diet Pepsi, Dr. Pepper Zero, or Coke Zero it seems almost daily. Still, I love to try out other next diet sodas and I'm always on the lookout for a tasty beverage.
