Halloween 2K26 - Halloween H20 Documentaries on The Sci-Fi Channel
Halloween πSci-Fi Entertainment
From 1998 to 1999, the Sci-Fi Channel aired Sci-Fi Entertainment, basically the Entertainment Tonight of science fiction. Hosted by Chase Masterson (everybody's favorite Dabo girl from Deep Space Nine) alongside Scott Mantz moviemantz.com, it was a pretty neat show and the kind I'd definitely watch today. It featured interviews and segments with various sci-fi celebrities, plus the standard publicity junket clips for upcoming movies and TV shows. This particular episode featured a segment on Halloween H20, which is how I stumbled upon the show in the first place.
The Making of Halloween Twenty Years Later
While I'm on the Sci-Fi Channel and Halloween H20 kick, I also found a 30-minute "Making of" special that aired in 1998. I used to obsess over these, and HBO was fantastic about airing them in the '90s. They're basically short clips, behind-the-scenes footage, and generic interviews shot next to a movie poster, so nothing too thrilling. But back then, they were gold. Before the internet made every detail accessible, these specials were one of the few ways you could actually learn what happened behind the scenes. That kind of content felt rare and valuable.
